Women's Self-Defense & Empowerment Course

The Women’s Self-Defense Course employs a mind and body training approach to maximize each woman’s abilities to be safe in her life both public and private. The course goes beyond an accumulation of attack defenses to assist in crafting an attitude of personal safety. Safety mindedness includes the awareness of an attacker’s methods and opportunities and being able to respond to intrusions to ones personal space in ways that increases or restores a woman’s sense of control. Sooner rather than later and too much rather than too little are core attitudes emphasized in safety preparation and action. The course works towards eliminating any thoughts of resignation or delay to achieving parity in life’s encounters in order to prevent escalation to a combative state. Keeping the advantage out of someone else’s court by being safety minded and making timely corrections at the first sign a woman senses a concern is the course objective. All students and friends are welcome, Master Terri Coffee leads a special intensive self-defense class just for women. In this class, you will:

  • Learn street awareness and self-protection
  • Discover the full potential of your internal and external power
  • Increase your self-esteem and confidence

This intensive program is taught Wednesdays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM for 4 weeks.
